Frequently Asked Questions
What is body contouring?
Body contouring is the practice of enhancing the body using techniques such as Vacuum Therapy treatment (Vacuum Therapy is a noninvasive massaging technique that helps to lift your skin via a mechanical device equipped with suction cups), Cavitation (Cavitation is the practice of targeting fat cells by using low-frequency ultrasound waves beneath the superficial layers of the epidermis. The cells then release triglycerides and other fatty substances, which are naturally eliminated through your own lymphatic system) and RF Lipo (RF Lipo is a radio frequency-based liposuction is a minimally invasive procedure that uses thermal energy to promote skin tightening and remove unwanted fat) to reduce fat and cellulite and lift the buttocks and breasts. This treatment also acts as a "collagen stimulator".
How long will the results last?
Once the fat has been destroyed using any of our fat reduction treatments and leaves the body, it is gone forever. The results are permanent, with maintenance and it is essential that you do your part, but we will be here to guide you through the entire process.
Will I need more than one session?
We do recommend 6-8 session to achieve maximum results and so that your results have a longer-lasting effect.
How soon can I receive another treatment? How many can I do in one day?
We suggest doing no more than one treatment to an area on the same day. Depending on the client, the service, and the area of the body, we may offer add-ons that allow you to add more time to your session in 15-minute increments up to a specified maximum. There is an additional charge for add-ons. The same area can be treated as soon as the next day and many of our clients see us twice a week.
Is the process painful?
There may be some slight discomfort and intensity when having your service performed, depending on the service but they are not described as painful. We do take into consideration your tolerance levels so that you are as comfortable as possible while also considering levels needed to create maximum effect. There will likely be some redness and slight swelling following your procedure. This typically goes away within 24 hours of the end of your appointment time
Is there any downtime?
There is no real downtime when using our non-invasive methods. There may be some slight redness and swelling but this typically goes away after 24 hours.
Are there any restrictions on services I can receive?
We would love to give each client the specific service that they ask for but we must consider your own well-being. If you currently have any of the following, please let us know so that we can create a plan based on you and still deliver the desired results.
